Pittsboro Fire-Rescue
Mission Statement
The Pittsboro Fire-Rescue proudly and continuously protects life, property, and the environment from fire, natural disasters, and other emergencies for those who live, work and travel through the town of Pittsboro and surrounding districts with professional and honest personnel.
The Pittsboro Fire-Rescue is a combination department consisting of 24 full-time 24-hour shift personnel and three chiefs that work a 40-hour work week. Personnel staff all three stations.
In addition to the paid staff, approximately 20 dedicated volunteers respond from three stations and are available at a moment’s notice.
